　　1、辭職信 Letter of Resignation

　　現(xiàn)代人處在競(jìng)爭(zhēng)非常激烈的大環(huán)境中。為了謀求更好的發(fā)展，有很多人，尤其是一些年輕人，辭職、跳槽的現(xiàn)象屢見(jiàn)不鮮。那么如何寫(xiě)辭職信呢?

　　寫(xiě)辭職信時(shí)要說(shuō)明辭職原因，有時(shí)需說(shuō)明離開(kāi)的時(shí)間以給對(duì)方一個(gè)物色接替人選的時(shí)間，以免給所在單位造成不必要的麻煩。然后還要感謝對(duì)方曾經(jīng)給過(guò)自己這樣的工作機(jī)會(huì)。

　　寫(xiě)作“三步走”：

　　提出辭職—>說(shuō)明原因，表示遺憾或感謝—>期盼回復(fù)

　　Tips:

　　在寫(xiě)作辭職信的時(shí)候語(yǔ)氣一定要誠(chéng)懇，尤其是要表達(dá)遺憾的心情，同時(shí)對(duì)于原雇主曾經(jīng)給自己的這份工作機(jī)會(huì)表達(dá)感激之情。

　　(1) 2005年真題 Directions:

　　Two months ago you got a job as an editor for the magazine Design & Fashion. But now you find that the work is not what you expected. You decide to quit. Write a letter to your boss, Mr. Wang, telling him your decision, and stating your reason(s). You should write about 100 words on ANSWER SHEET 2.

　　Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use ―Li Ming‖ instead. Do not write the address.

　　范文：

　　Dear Mr. Wang,

　　I am writing to inform you of my intention of withdrawing from my current position in this magazine.

　　Though having worked here for merely two months, I, unfortunately, find that this job is quite different from my expectation. First of all, I have to say that my salary is far from satisfying, which barely sustains me in this expensive city. Moreover, so far I have never had the responsibility of any challenging task.

　　I apologize in advance for any inconvenience it might bring to you. Yours truly, Li Ming

　　譯文：

　　尊敬的王先生：

　　我給您寫(xiě)這封信是想辭去我目前在雜志中的職位。

　　閃光詞匯及詞組：

　　intention: n.意圖, 目的

　　withdraw from: 離開(kāi)，撤出，退出 merely: adv. 僅僅，只，不過(guò)

　　(2)Directions:

　　You have worked in a Non-Governmental Organization for several years, but now you need to quit the job because you are moving to another city with your family. Write a letter to your boss Mr. Smith to tell him your decision and the reason, and your appreciation for the work experience in this agency.

　　You should write about 100 words on ANSWER SHEET 2.

　　Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use ―Li Ming‖ instead. Do not write the address.

Please accept my sincere gratitude, as well as my regret for not being able to serve here any longer.
