　　26) give sb. a hand：幫助某人或參與某人做某事

　　e.g. Give me a hand with the cleaning, please.

　　give sb. one’s hand：與某人握手

　　e.g. She gave me her hand and wished me a good trip.

　　27) go through：檢查，搜查;通過，穿過

　　e.g. They went through our luggage at the customs.

　　It took us a whole week to go through the great forest.

　　go through with：把……堅持到底

　　e.g. We should go through with the experiment now we’ve started.

　　not less than：不比……差，至少

　　e.g. There were not less than one hundred people at the meeting.

　　請大家注意區(qū)分以上兩句的差別，第一句是指“竟達(dá)100人之多”，第二句則是“至少有100人”，要明白no less than是一種強(qiáng)調(diào)說法，它和not less than的區(qū)別在于事先假定的程度或是數(shù)量有所不同，no less than在某種意義上說來沒有超過的意思，而not less than可能會超過，這種表達(dá)方式正好與no more than以及not more than相反。

　　not more than：不比……更，不如;至多

　　e.g. He is not more clever than you are.

　　在作“出售的”的意思的時候，on sale和for sale還是有一些不同的，一般來說，for sale多指物主親自或委托代理人經(jīng)手出售，而on sale通常表示店里的貨物是供出售的。
