　　首先是There be結構，實際上是一種倒裝結構，主語在句末。翻譯時，可采用這樣的框架：“什么時間什么地方有(沒有)什么人()物怎么樣”，如：

　　2.It 結構

　　英語里的it是個多功能詞(multi-functional word)，最常用的是它的代詞功能，可代物“它”、“to do”、“v-ing”“賓補”“主語從句等等。常用結構“It is adj.\n to do\……”

　　1) It is advisable to exercise(擁有) patience in dealing with such complicated situations。

　　遇到這類復雜的情況，明智的做法是要有耐性。

　　這句里，It代指“to exercise(擁有) patience”，后面的“in……”作狀語，為“在……中”

　　以下同理(紅色字體為主語部分，也就是it代指內容)

　　2) It is advisable to place important telephone numbers next to the phone in case of an emergency. 建議把重要的電話號碼放在電話機旁，以備出現(xiàn)緊急情況。

　　3) It is biologically reasonable for deer to reduce their cost of living to increase their chances of surviving in winter. 為了提高冬季存活的機率，鹿必須明智的從生理上減少生存成本，

　　此外，it is\was……that也是高頻句式

　　4) It is essential that the increase in production should be geared to (適應) the increase in public demand. 生產(chǎn)量的提高必須和大眾的需求相適應。

　　此句中，it代指的即為that后面成分，這種句式被稱為“主語從句”。再如下面三句：
